In addition to your statutory rights, we (Sebastian Behrendt, Secret VIP, Marienthaler Str. 145, 20535 Hamburg, Germany) give the following guarantee as guarantor:
Your statutory rights – in particular in case of defects and the statutory right of withdrawal – remain unaffected and are not restricted by this guarantee (section 479 German Civil Code).
Your contracting party for the purchase is Paddle as seller (Merchant of Record). The withdrawal information Paddle shows you in the checkout and in the order confirmation is binding; details are in Paddle's refund policy. For your information we repeat it here:
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom, via paddle.net) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. an email via the link in your order confirmation). You can also use the withdrawal function ("Request withdrawal") in the Paddle customer portal, which you reach via the link in your order confirmation or via paddle.net, or the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, all payments received from you will be reimbursed without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which the notice of your withdrawal was received. The reimbursement will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Early expiry
For a contract for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires once performance (e.g. the download) has begun after you expressly agreed that performance may begin before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and received a confirmation of the contract (section 356(5) German Civil Code).
Regardless of this, our voluntary guarantee in section 1 also applies after the download. If a withdrawal reaches us instead of Paddle, we forward it to Paddle without delay; it counts as in time if it reached us within the period.
